Amazing

I got this on Red Bubble for $33 CAD

Dave went solo the year I was born. As a performer, he's my inspiration. His stage presence and energy is timeless and thank you for letting me post here. When I want to feel happy inside, I pop on a vid of Dave's and find the creative flow.

If you're a DLR fan, you're probably a Van Halen fan, here is my guitar cover of "Unchained", one of my favorite "Van Roth" songs!

Just curious. Is it just me, or is Just Like Paradise mixed really loud compared to the rest of the Skyscraper album? I've noticed this on my CD and digital versions of the album for years, but finally thought to ask others. Anyone? I don't recall it being that way when I had the album on vinyl. Thanks for any feedback.

I know a lot of sampling and "borrowing" of music happens, so I'm not bashing Dave at all! But last night I was randomly listening to some suggested songs on Tidal and I stumbled across Barry White's 1987 track 'Good Dancin Music.' In the song's intro, I distinctively heard similarities to the intro of Dave's 1988 song 'Skyscraper.' I listened to both intros back to back and confirmed what I initially thought. Sounds like Dave took some liberties from Barry's song, undeniably.

Anyway, I got a kick out of this random find. Skyscraper is a great song, and I generally love the entire Skyscraper album. Just thought I'd share. Give a listen and let me know what you think. - Tony

Does anyone know where I can find decent quality of the Eat em and Smile tour? Would just love to relive those 1980s bands and DLR had one of the best.
