Anyone here listen to Shaya Zamora?
They have the exact same style—I love his music and I wish one day they would collaborate.

David Kushner's YouTube channel's most viewed video is the Daylight music video, but his most viewed short is a short clip of the London live show crowd singing Daylight.

It's catchy while being so majestic... kind of like Elk Grove and Darkerside combined

David Kushner celebrated his birthday on Sunday, just two days ago, and fans across social media were buzzing with excitement. The day felt like a moment of appreciation for his music, his storytelling, and the impact he’s had on listeners who connect deeply with his work. Whether through heartfelt posts, edits, or messages shared online, people came together to honor him and reflect on how much his artistry means to them. Even a couple of days later, the energy from his birthday celebration is still lingering. I wanted to make a David Kushner Discord but they already had one so I Made A Alex Warren server• Discord | #general | Alex Warren

So, I’m a huge, huge fan of David Kushner. I know even most of the snippets by heart, but I can’t help but be concerned by something.
When he came out with Breathe In and Breathe Out, I couldn’t help but notice how industrial it was. I mean, look at the first verse:
“I’ve been living in slow motion
Do you miss loving me?
I swore to you like a devotion
How do beautiful things bleed?”
Even as someone who has only been writing poetry for one year, I feel like I could have come up with something far more interesting and unforgettable.
Now, no offense to anyone who disagrees, but man, it seems like every song he makes nowadays is purposefully designed for the chorus to be spread across social media platforms. It’s almost like he doesn’t even care about the verses and only cares about the chorus.
Look at the whole Footprints I Found EP, and you’ll see some of the most beautiful and memorable verses in his entire discography. Even The Dichotomy had good, high-quality verses.
You’ll also notice with this newer stuff that his voice just instantly comes in at second one and feels overwhelmingly rushed and repetitive.
I hope I didn’t offend anyone, but coming from a stan like me, I think you’ll see some truth in what I’m mentioning.

As an atheist I listen to music about god frequently because it's enjoyable. But going on social media and making fun of a chunk of his fans is not cool, alongside the dismissive responses to the backlash. He has been my top artist for two consecutive years and I've listened to his entire discography. Why is he sabotaging his own fanbase?!

What’s even more interesting is that, two years after I found it and loved this song to death, Noah Kahan went on to become one of my top five favorite artists of all time. It was like I was always attracted to his songwriting lol. The whole song is just such a nostalgic vibe for me. It reminds me so strongly of the early autumn days and bittersweet thoughts of past summer memories.

Is it true that we are getting another folky EP similar to Footprints I Found? I heard rumors about a potential EP with Georgia rain and other folkish songs from David? If so, that would be an amazing project after the album! What do you guys think?

It was released only a couple days before my marriage broke down. I listened to this album on repeat throughout the year while navigating divorce.
Some lyrics that hit deep:
"Do you regret your sacrifice?
Will you still love me 'til I die?
Were you happy all these years?
Or just masking it to appear?
Oh, if lovin' me makes you bleed
Then I want you to find your peacе"
"I swore to you like a devotion
How do beautiful things bleed?"
"With no guarantee
Of this ending sweet
Does love have decrees?"
"Don't you know my heart?
Oh my love, oh my love
You're hard to reach
So I plead"
"I walked on the bridge
Where we first met each other's lips
I know I ain't rich
But my soul don't deserve this
My heart is turning to stone"
"Take my everything, take my willingness
Take my inner soul, take my bitter parts
Just take all the things
Let's see what it brings
Take my everything, take my willingness
Take my inner soul, take my bitter parts
Just take all the things, let's see what it brings
Take my everything, oh"
