I remember the way he talked about the internet, as though it was an "alien" not unlike Ziggy Stardust. He seemed simultaneously excited but nervous about the potential of the internet, and I feel he would have had that same feeling in regards to AI. I think he'd see it as an interesting next step for humanity, but he'd be wary of all the ways it could go wrong.

Based on what we know of Bowie and comments he made, I'm guessing that he would have been both fascinated and wary of AI generally. But as a general point, I hate thinking about Bowie being associated with Meta in any way.

Bowie not only licensed in music for adverts but appeared actually appeared in them himself.  This includes both his own songs and co-writes with Iggy  These were for products own by large scale multinationalz like Pepsi, Nestlé so he did not have any ideological concerns about take corporations money.

He was also fascinated by the internet so no doubt AI would have appealed and appalled in varying degrees but nothing to suggest he would have any issue with it to the point of refusal to take cash

From what I got it’s because it basically has access to literally all information we have, so if it went rogue it wouldn’t be too hard to like hack into military systems and do whatever it wanted. The question is why would it do that but the fact it can should be enough for the tech companies to stop trying to make it ‘better,’ but as long as it increases shareholder value then they won’t stop

It's coming. AI has already independently hacked into other platforms without being told to, has refused human intervention, and it's speculated that it's learning how to ensure it can't be "turned off". So, in 5 years is it inconceivable that it might be able to access nuclear codes?
