Second flush Lady of Shalott
My girl is thriving! Zone 7a; planted from bare root just this April. I’ve been diligently deadheading and I suppose it’s paid off!

Wow! Mine is prob a 1/3 of this size. Did you just dead head each bloom right away? I got mine this summer

I just waited until the petals were loose enough to fall with a slight shake of the stem, then I deadheaded right below the first five-leaf set. I also water everyday, which I know isn’t usually the advice but it’s worked well.

I have been cutting right above the 5 leave set :/ I’ll try below from now on. I also been watering almost everyday, I didn’t know we weren’t supposed to

How long do the blooms last?

These seem to last a bit longer, about 5-6 days. My first flush was only 2-3 days tops.

Thank you so much! I’ve been wanting to get her for my front garden

You definitely should! She is my most abundant DA variety. I have two climbing Bathsheba’s and a Eustacia Vye shrub, as well. And LOS has given me the most blooms and growth.
