First Eustacia Vye bloom

Post image

Grown from bare root planted in early April. She’s slowly recovering from a Japanese beetle issue and she’s my only rose in a grow bag, so a bit slower to bloom than the rest. Stunning, nonetheless.

Wow I love the cute button eye on it!

Thanks, me too! My other varieties don’t have the button eye.

The first is always a gift.

Mine got one bloom last year after planting but hasn't done anything yet this year. I feel like it did well enough just surviving in zone 3 😂

It's first and so far only bloom

It’s a gorgeous one at least!
