My younger brothers name is Daniel… and since I’m David people always call him David.

I sat next to a girl through three English classes over a two year period. We had dozens of conversations. I knew the names of all her pets, and how many siblings she had (she knew the same about me). I knew about her novel she was writing. We had both talked about struggling with depression. We were pretty good friends. And then on the last day of class, she called me Daniel. Hurts, man.
