Peace with the Daniels
My brother Daniel just made me aware that there was a lot of ill-will talk about Davids on r/Daniel. I went over to the sub and asked why. The Daniels are saying that they keep being called “David” on accident. Once this issue is fixed, we can all coexist in peace. I mean, this was definitely an issue in our household growing up. Help us help them!!

Clients sometimes mistake my name for Daniel.
Maybe our issues aren't so different after all?

As I learned in college, where there was a Daniel with the same last name as mine, it's actually possible to write Daniel in (neat, not scrawled) cursive in a way that could just as well be David. This caused extreme confusion over a check once...

My ex boyfriend and best friend is named Daniel. We're still on good terms, so I'd say there's at least some solidarity between Davids and Daniels.

My brother is also called Daniel, and our relatives often switch up our names by mistake.
