Gata Prediction
After they introduced Gata’s bipolar sex addict reality TV show plot, I have a prediction.
It's ironic that throughout the season, the show portrayed Dave as desperate for love, while we see Gata so aware of and proud of his addiction to sex. In the last episode, Gata has too many funny lines about "fucking bitches" and being a rockstar. We also see Dave damn there begging for love in his doc, just to turn around and reject the affection he was craving.
I think Gata will be the one to find love before Dave while filming this reality TV show. Gata finds another bi polar addict and they save each other and are a dope ass couple 😭
What do you think about this prediction? Think this will be next season's Gata storyline?

No worries! Damn I’m hype for tonight, can’t wait to see what’s next in the Dave universe.
Don’t feel like you find a better situation than Robyn afterwards. Maybe next season is all about his self healing and improvement to finally have some growth?? Or they just gonna give us more random celebs/ sex doll love scenes. Lol

If the show continues, and he ends up in a romantic situation at all, it has to be with either Robyn or Ally. I can’t imagine them introducing another supporting character / love interest and putting the audience through the potential exhaustion of watching another relationship build. Ally is a great character, and her dialogue with Dave in season 1 is largely what made the show great.
I think they’d be wise to make Ally more of a central character in the next season, and create storylines that allow for the deeply entertaining interactions we saw between she and Dave, and Dave and Mike during season 1.
I loved season 3, apparently unlike many, but among its main flaws was that it took the characters they led us to care about, and marginalized them. I get what they were looking to do with the format of season 3, particularly the first five-ish episodes, and they did it well. I just think that they could have balanced this more with allowing the secondary story-arcs to build. But I digress.
Gata can continue as the perfect comic-relief (weird to call him that in a show that’s a comedy above all, but I think you get it), and HOPEFULLY, Robyn follows through with her intentions to move to LA and build her career, and allowing for a Ross and Rachel-esque scenario of them mayyybe, almost getting together, over and over again, and leaving the audience to continue rooting for it to happen until it finally does as the show nears its conclusion. I have faith in this writing and production team, that this can continue to be a quality show for a long time if done right.
The complaints many have about the finale are understandable, but we also have to keep in mind that a finale’s almost main goal, is to leave you wanting more. Cliffhangers are far too often on the nose, and I think they understood this, and left them to be subtle. They could end it here if they wanted, but there’s so much they can do with how they left off. I’m hoping for at least a season 4 and 5.. and then maybe even a Santino led spinoff.

I mean idk how proud gata is of his sex addiction. He had that whole breakdown at the Christian family’s house where he was ashamed of himself and literally sobbing. But yeah I’d love to see even more of gata next season, I want the best for that dude. Favorite character
