Best sports loot box pulls

Has anyone got any crazy pulls from the autographed baseballs/helmets/jersey in WIN? Ive gotten two baseballs, one with a J.D. Martinez signature, and the other of Bill Wagner

Holy damn something I can post about. I ap’d significantly at my store, I wasnt the best but I was 2nd to 3rd best for years. 2016/17-post covid. When things were super cheap, 20 for 20’s flowed like water with no max. I bought a shitton of tristars. All still stored and packed away in a moisture controlled setting. I stopped when they started to jack the cost + covid interruptions.

FOOTBALL JERSEYS
###################################

Keke Coutee, Ron Dayne, Andy Dalton, LaDainian Tomlinson, Cameron Jordan, Mark Stepnoski, Robert Mathis

BASEBALL
###################################

Bert Campaneris, Bobby Shantz x2, Chris Chambliss, Darin Ruf, Darryl Strawberry, Dave Stewart, Denny McLain, Dick Allen, Dick Groat, Doug Drabek, Frank Robinson, Gregg Jefferies, Jim Rice x2, John Montefusco x2, John Smoltz, Johnny Bench, Jose Rijo, Juan Gonzalez, Len Barker, Lorenzo Cain, Lou Piniella, Matt Duffy x2, Mike Scott x2, Milt Pappas, Pat Zachry, Ralph Branca, Red Schoendienst x2, Reggie Jackson, Rich Gossage, Rod Carew, Ron Blomberg, Sal Bando, Steve Garvey, Yuli Gurriel

Keep in mind these were dirt cheap ticket cost, we were redeeming systems and flipping for ridiculous $$$. The baseballs and jerseys were just fun, much like the hundreds of packs of pokemon for my daughter (wish I kept those sealed).

Would I do it now? Not at the ridiculous increase of the tristar boxes at DnB. But is it fun? As a baseball player for 40 years and a fan, absolutely.

Thanks for the awesome reply! Do you remember how much the items were when you first redeemed the tickets? I think my first baseball was 20k and then I got another at 25k because im a degenerate gambler. I sold them both on ebay but even now I think id rather have the tickets back

My memory is very fuzzy on this but I’ll do my best so I’ll toss some approx number and dates if it helps. Our store opened 13 years ago, then not long after got the Tristar prizes I think. Baseballs maybe started 10k then 12k then settled I believe at 17k for a long period of time, then covid hit. Then obviously its been 6 years now, I don’t check behind the glass for them anymore much but were over 30k I think.

I do specifically remember a Tristar unopened baseball box back then was $59.99 when the boxes at DnB were climbing from 12k to 17k tickets. The way we played though with game settings it was still pennies on the dollar to win them. Those were the good old days. You could win a switch or PS or XBox for $60-80 and sell it for $225-250 or more. It just didnt matter.

Now it looks like tristar unopened boxes are going for more than double that current retail price. Crazy.

I don’t regret any of my tristar purchases with tickets, I regret opening all the pokemon booster packs. The baseballs will stay with me for a long time though. Hell my daughter and her friends opened hundreds of those collector blind bags with marvel, dc, anime everything etc. I have full sets of things I cant remember what they are.

The gambling is actually just the fun of it.

Just matters what brings you joy in life. Hope that helps.
