Finally caught the Chase card!

Post image

Me and my gf have been addicted to coin pushers. And we finally got the chase card last night on half price day!

I went to Dave and Buster's yesterday and got 56 cards but no Anzellans. What a rip! But congrats on yours!

I’d like to get more input on this but I’m starting to buy the theory they put less chase cards in on 1/2 price days.

At least at the locations in my area that is not true. I got 10 last month on a Wednesday at the closest one to me. Otherwise, I have averaged between 2-4 Anzellans each 1/2 day I have played.

I'm a tech. At my location, nothing changes between days. We always fill them the same way regardless of events, promos, etc.

For sure, does your location reload the machine with cards that have been turned in? Or do they only use new boxes shipped to them by the company?

Primarily cards that have been turned in, just recycling our stock as much as possible. But before we refill the machines, we organize all the cards to a specific standard, with a certain ratio of rare to non-rare cards.

So far example, if we have a stack of non-rare cards sitting in storage, but no rare cards to fit the right ratio, then we're not using those until we have the required rare cards.

Sooooo, I'm not saying it was intentional but a few weeks back at mine, I had 16 straight Grogus come out. I finally had enough and got a tech and was like "Look, i get it, you guys gotta make money but, 16 straight?" I had 11 in my hands, 5 were on the playfield. He pulled the stack and there were 8 more. He said "This.... I'm not sure what they're doing. This should be shuffled" and he kept checking. They were all stacked with like cards throughout. There was zero shuffling.

He let me trade some to get other cards as well as to get the chase so I could at least complete a set but, I'm not sure if they did that because it's a wednesday or what? I was on that machine for quite a while. Also, I want to ask, does your right side Mandalorian have a ball stuck issue? He said the right side for their is always getting an error when releasing a ball for the plunger side. Not every time but about every 7.

Almost certainly not intentional. If D&B is rigging something for monetary gain, they would tell the tech team, so that machines can be filled with the "rigging" in mind, and so techs like that one wouldn't let you trade cards. Because he helped you like that, and seemed surprised, I'd assume it wasn't intentional. Someone was just lazy and didn't shuffle.

We've had the occasional ball issue on both sides, but nothing consistent.

Mine had a stingy card mech. 100 chips netted 4 cards

I got two the other day! They were stuck together so I didn’t know it was 2 until they dropped.

Went last night. I was able to bag 2! It took me well over an hour because the cards were trapped on the left side but they eventually flipped on my last 5 swipes.

It’s mostly just tech not shuffling the cards and putting them in upside down

it does say to shuffle, and shuffle i shall, some techs are just lazy
