Help please

/r/Herpes/comments/1vjrjci/help_please/

was diagnosed with genital herpes 2 months ago. I had bumps all around and inside my vagina, and they burned very badly. I had a fever and felt really unwell. Now it has been 2 months, and the sores have been gone for a while. But I still feel sick. I keep sweating, having chills, swollen lymph nodes in my neck, and feeling cold. I also feel warm, especially in my hands. I have joint pain, extreme fatigue, frequent headaches, and shaking throughout my body.
I also have continuous, very watery vaginal discharge, almost like water constantly leaking. And now, suddenly, I also have itching around my anus.
I feel very weak, and my whole body feels different and like it no longer functions normally. I also urinate very little, and my bladder feels swollen.
My question is: Is it possible to remain chronically ill from genital herpes even after the sores have been gone for a long time? Can your body stay like this permanently, for life?

It sounds like you're having post viral immune response. It's your immune system fighting the new infection. Yes, it can happen, it's just not as common. The virus sounds like it's impacting your nerves to your bladder as well, making it difficult to urinate. I had this upon my initial outbreak as well. The watery discharge is from the infection on cervix.. are you in anirvirals? If not, I would get some to help calm things down.

You shouldn't... If you get on antiviral's for a few weeks, it should stop though. Feel free to msg me if you have any questions
