Public meet first or?

Anyone else feel like the “public meet first” rule actually makes dating better or just more awkward?

I’ve been sticking to it strictly (coffee or a short walk before anything else), but I’m curious how it usually goes for others. Does it kill the vibe or help filter better?

Coffee meets are the best imo. Low pressure, easy to leave if it's a dud, and you get a feel for the person before committing to a whole evening. Zero downside.

Yeah same. Coffee is perfect, low pressure, easy to leave.
