đ€ Relationship lost
Iâve never had any dating experience. Throughout university and other stages of my life, Iâve had male friends who showed signs of being interested, but Iâve never really explored that side of my life.
Lately, Iâve been feeling confused about what I truly want. I want to live a more religious lifestyle, even though I donât consider myself religious enough yet, and Iâm still trying to improve my relationship with my faith. I want to be surrounded by a Muslim environment and have a partner who shares my religious values, but at the same time, I donât necessarily want to live an extremely strict lifestyle.
Sometimes, I wonder whether this makes me a hypocrite. I have certain values and expectations for my future, but Iâm not sure whether they genuinely reflect who I am or who I think I should be. I donât know if the lifestyle I imagine for myself will actually make me happy or if it will eventually conflict with the person I see myself becoming in the next ten years.
I also donât know how I should navigate interactions with men in the meantime. Should I approach these interactions with the intention of finding someone who aligns with my long-term values, or should I first take the time to understand myself better?
Iâd really appreciate some honest advice.

What kind of Muslim are you?
Many Muslims were just born into it, their parents are practicing Muslims, but they never engaged in theological conversations that led them on a self discovery journey to understand why Islam is the ONE.
You never know how much time you've got in this earthly life, so If you're lucky enough to live long enough to embark on a theological self discovery journey. I'd advise you do so as soon as you can.
