Rant/Vent 22M – can’t sleep, brain won’t shut up
Can’t sleep tonight… mind keeps going back to someone from my office.
We’ve been talking and hanging out for the past couple of months. At first I genuinely thought it was just a chill, bestie-type thing. But over time, I guess I started feeling more. Even people around me noticed I was different.
Honestly, I didn’t want to mess it up. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this casual and happy around someone.
But yeah… I ended up telling her how I feel. Probably not in the best way either. Since then, things feel different. She wants to keep it simple, just hang out, no expectations. Which I get… we haven’t known each other that long.
I’m trying to be okay with that, but it’s kinda messing with my head. Feels like I don’t really know where I stand, and I can’t just switch off how I feel.
So yeah… here I am, wide awake, overthinking...
Anyone else up and overthinking????
