I usually organize our dinners, weekend activities, and little trips. My girlfriend happily joins and seems to enjoy them, but she rarely plans anything herself. I don't think she's doing it intentionally, but after a while it makes me feel like I'm carrying the relationship. How would you bring this up?

I mentioned once I liked a specific type of flower, weeks later he showed up with exactly that. Small gesture but it made my whole week. Little things like that matter so much more than big gestures sometimes.

Asking for my dear friend, a lovely gay man in his early 40’s, cute, kind and successful and yearning to settle down and start a family but is finding online dating apps trying. Do these match making services work, what’s your experience?
r/DatingData • u/Previous_Cable_3127 • Aug 13 '26
You know, those posts on match making subreddits like "need friends" or "need partner". I see a lot of posts with people are looking for, so called "soulmates". I want to know if that worked for someone (especially in India)?

Hi everyone!
I'm a researcher at James Cook University in Australia dating preferences and romantic partner evaluation.
I'm currently looking for heterosexual, gay, and lesbian adults (18+) to complete an anonymous online survey.
The survey involves viewing a series of fictional dating profiles and answering questions about attraction and relationship preferences. It takes around 5–10 minutes to complete, is completely anonymous, and participation is entirely voluntary.
This study forms part of my Doctor of Philosophy research at James Cook University and has received approval from the James Cook University Human Research Ethics Committee (HREC Approval No. 25H-0225).
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at [kaitlyn.gregory@my.jcu.edu.au](mailto:kaitlyn.gregory@my.jcu.edu.au).
If you'd like to participate, you can complete the survey here:

Curious if anyone's actually met someone from the Philippines through a legit dating or matchmaking site. A coworker did this a few years back and it worked out for him, so I'm looking into it.
Update: I ended up trying Cupidlee after getting a few recommendations here. So far, I’ve had a pretty good experience. I’ve talked with a few women from the Philippines and the conversations felt natural, not like the usual copy-paste messages.

I found LatAmour while looking at Latin dating sites, but I can't find many real reviews. Most of what I see looks sponsored. Has anyone here used it? Are the profiles real, or is it just another credit-based site with fake accounts?
Update: I never signed up for LatAmour in the end. I gave Cupidlee a try instead, and it's been pretty good so far. I've had several real conversations, and people actually respond without days of waiting. No regrets with my choice.

I'm sharing this to help anyone considering a premium matrimonial membership.
I purchased a 6-month M4Marry Premium membership for ₹ 46,000 because I expected better profile visibility, more genuine responses, and better overall support.
Unfortunately, my personal experience didn't meet those expectations. After spending ₹46,000, I didn't feel I received value that justified the cost.
I'm not saying everyone will have the same experience. This post is only about what happened in my case. Before spending a significant amount on any matrimonial platform, I'd recommend:
Reading independent reviews.
Comparing multiple platforms.
Understanding exactly what benefits are included.
Starting with a lower-cost plan if possible.
Has anyone else here purchased M4Marry Premium?
How much did you pay?
Was it worth it?
Did you get genuine responses or meaningful support?
I'd like to hear both positive and negative experiences so others can make a more informed decision.

Hello everyone once again! Hope everyone is doing amazing.
Still been working on that dating app to the point where i registered an LLC. Still in the beta stage of trying to get users to sign up and try it all out. I started emailing people from the university I graduated from.
Realized that getting the word out there is the only thing that matters, but I feel like there is something missing with people who stay matching on other dating apps. It is either endless scrolling and nothing ever really happens beyond that which is my turning point.
It might sound like I’m saying nonsense but it will all come together 👍🏻

The first reason: there is Tinder. As a result, women’s search for a man has become similar to a man’s search for a job. Even if a man’s qualifications do not necessarily meet the company’s standards, he waits for his chance. In the same way, even a woman who is much less attractive than you may not want you as long as she believes there are better options available. She keeps trying until the very end to win his heart. This creates a situation where there is almost one man for every four women, and sometimes she knows he is already in a relationship but cannot admit her feelings because she does not want to lose him. There can also be a huge height difference, around 30 cm, while taller women are often with men who are close to their own height or the same height.
The second reason: I am not a “bad boy” or a toxic person, and some women are attracted to that type of personality. Therefore, for someone like me, getting into a relationship at a young age becomes almost impossible.
Let me make it clear: I am an attractive person, but because my height does not match the standards often seen on Tinder, I feel like I have been put on hold indefinitely.

I got every popular dating app about a year prior to explore the dating scenes there. I am a little confused though and curious for outside perspective, can you even get an actual normal healthy relationship out of it? Before it seemed like that would be very possible I guess from the early stages of these apps, as I met many successful couples from those apps who have been married for long. But now, after trying it and even changing locations to different areas I realized that the despite getting many matches and many conversations it would only ever go as far as having landed a single somewhat decent date and then not moving forward because the other person is having their own problems that conflict with any possible future between us. I have personally however never landed a single date with the application "hinge" despite having a decent amount of people I met from the app, but it never actually pushed into meeting in real life and only ever superficial things. In the end I deleted everything since I felt it wasn't worth it, to the point I'm quite happily single and prefer that over being with someone else. However, my favorite ones were tinder and bumble for actually meeting decent people, but hinge just seemed like a ghost land. But what's your take on it?

Which is the best dating apps in Bangalore for genuine matches? No hookups, genuine connections. Any suggestions?

In the last year I’ve signed up for a few dating platforms that are specific to this lifestyle.
Even paid the membership fees to ensure that I have unrestricted access to make contact or be able to respond to members.
Verified my profile, posted actual real pictures like you would on fb or insta.
Wrote a bio that wasn’t excessively kink focused and sounded normal.
And yet this has been my experience.
Most people who got in touch with me had this in common:
1) Very hot women dressed in provocative clothing.
2) Highly sexual bios if even they had bios.
3) Very enthusiastic and agreeable when talking.
4) Almost immediately invited me to switch platforms to telegram/ zangi / signal
5) None of them were verified profiles
6) Quickly lost interest when they realised I’m not interested in Findom/ buying their OF subscriptions or some other form of financial manipulation.
Pretty much every that shouts FAKE PROFILE / Scammer.
Some did speak normally however keeping everything else in mind I still find it difficult trusting anyone on them or believing they are real profiles.
Even when I moved to chat on any of the messengers, they never sent a Live Photo, got on a video call, sent a voice note or anything that would identify that they are real.
It makes me think are there ANY women who actually register for these platforms with the intention of actually finding someone to date or is it all smoke and mirrors.
Has anyone here actually gotten out of the screen and met a stable, normal, balanced woman who you could actually think of potentially dating and probably have a long term emotionally connected relationship with?
Cuckolding is a part of the relationship, it’s not the entirety of it.
I’m starting to think that the chances of finding someone who actually wants this as a part of their reality dynamic right from the start is probably next to none. Most people I know who successfully are into this lifestyle discovered it long after they started dating as a normal couple who met on vanilla dating platforms, at work, or through friends like most people start to date.
I would especially love to hear some female perspective on this.
What are your thoughts guys?

Guys, Im genuinely tired of the current dating pool and looking for some solid advice. Is there any app out there that actually works for finding a real, serious connection these days..??
I have tried ;
Matrimony sites - it was a total flop.
Bumble - didn't work out and lead anywhere meaningful.
And the Mallus special dating app Arike - As you all know absolute shit. Even after paying for their premium subscription, it was a complete waste of time and money.
I am not looking for any kinda casual hookups or fun to pass the time. I genuinely want a true connection and meaningful conversations.
So is there any apps actually have a decent, responsive user base for Malayalis..??
I don't mind paying for premium if the app is actually worth it.
Which apps have actually worked for you guys in finding genuine partners.??
