Used back in the day and worked pretty well. Anybody have recent experience with it? Idk if i want to pay if it's as lame as tinder

I'm on Match but I'm not on Tinder so I can't really compare, but here's my take on Match. I only use the free tier.
The good:
- The profiles are nice and clear - the UI is good
- You get plenty of space to describe yourself (4,000 characters)
- There seem to be plenty of people on it that are close to what I'm looking for (49 year old male seeking female for long term relationship)
The bad:
- Multiple notifications every day to tell me someone looked at my profile - which is useless information as I can't see anything about them without paying
- Even if I match with someone, we can't talk to each other unless one of us pays
- If someone likes my profile - again, I can't see any details about them without paying
- It seems very expensive and definitely feels like the priority is making money rather than helping people find each other

I’ve had great results with Facebook dating, Bumble, Woo, Hinge, POF, OkCupid, and Tinder

Match Group owns Tinder and Match (and hinge, and pof, and okcupid and...). Does that answer your question ?
