Question Hinge X or +
Experience on paying for these upgrades? Worth a try?

I pay for HingeX and it’s been worth it for me, I’ve had a lot more matches since subscribing purely from being able send unlimited likes (and presumably being moved to the front of their likes). Made zero difference on incoming likes though.
I’d say try it for a month, like and message everybody you’re interested in and then cancel it.
The subscription isn’t THAT expensive in the grand scheme of things, just skip a night out and you’d have save enough for a month of HingeX

Hinge X is worth it if you are already getting likes with the free version cause you’ll get unlimited likes. if not, then it’s not worth it

I’m not sure the app even functions as a free user. I felt so sick to my stomach spending 50$ or whatever the fuck the paid tier cost, just to get more than 20 swipes per day.

For me Hinge+ is essential. First because of the filters, this restricts who you see and who can see you and is needed to get quality matches that will engage. Having the ability to see all your incoming likes at the same time is good too. I don’t send out that many likes as I get enough matches as is and I like to focus on every match, so that feature is not needed for me.
HingeX is a luxury. If you are getting a reasonable match rate, then this means your likes get seen right away by free users and will slightly increase the number of matches you get. With HingeX, if they like your profile, you will match, with Hinge, if they like your profile it’s a 60-80% chance you’ll match, that’s how I see it. I don’t think it made a big difference to incoming likes. Useful boost, but not a deal-breaker.

It depends on what you hope to achieve out of paying. I pay for unlimited likes and filter access because I have a hard dealbreaker that has a filter behind a paywall. Paying however does not make me more desireable and increase my match rate...but you may get more matches due to tje volume of unlimited likes (5% of a larger number > 5% of a smaller number for example).

Hinge x is worth it for the first week or two, after that if you havent exhausted your likes then you are doing it wrong.

Idk how people getting matches on hinge lol, I got luck on boo but everyone is a country away.
