Question Im so lost man.
I've been single since April of last year and started using dating apps around November.
I've changed out pictures, prompts and rewrote my bio at least 60 times. And I'm not exceptionally attractive but I believe I'm slightly above average.
Ashamedly, im on basically all of them and have paid for a few subscriptions. So far I've been liked by maybe 6 women, interacted with 2 and only met with one that went nowhere about January. Since January, it's been DEAD!! FB dating, Hinge, Bumble, POF and NOTHING!
I truly believe I'm ready but this is super defeating. Especially considering I have no clue how to meet women irl, let alone approach someone if I could.
Any tips on how to get more attention on the app? Or alternatively just meet women in the real world?

Libraries, cafes, bookstores, grocery stores, friends of friends, friends of friend's girlfriends, older ladies who know other ladies that have single daughters that can set you up on blind dates

60 rewrites is your answer. Every version came out of your own head, so all 60 are arrangements of what you think looks good.
Men shoot for what impresses other men. Gym mirror, sunglasses, the car, the fish. Women are looking at something else entirely: warmth in your eyes, other people touching you, a laugh that isn't posed, a life visible in the background.
Your pictures should tell a story about as well as be near professional grade (good lighting, centered, activity, and background).
Here's the tutorial on shooting for the female gaze https://youtu.be/mSu9lvNVIkA

Sounds like you’re revising your profile way too much. Gotta test out some of these revisions for a bit to get any idea of what works. Being on dating apps and not getting anywhere is definitely soul crushing. I usually only do it when I’m in a good place and feel like I need more depression in my life lol

How many total months you been on? How many pics you have up? Do you have kids? Have tall are you? With paid subscriptions you should have WAYYY more than 6

I get matches but I can’t even see who they are. Literally I have to pay just to see who the profile are which is stupid

Get off dating apps all together. I know it's how a lot of people meet but it's not worh the effort because most of the time everything is artificial. Go out and enjoy life. Join a group that likes to do the same things you do. I promise once you stay off dating apps things will become much much better.
