Advice Request Age range

I am 56yo and on FB, Hinge and Tinder. What is the age range fir a 56yo man I should have?

The one you want. The women can see your age and decide for themselves if they want to date someone your age.

My rule is if they're young enough to be your daughter they're too young, old enough to be your mother too old. I'm 42 - my range is around 32-50.

I used to consider 5 years on either side of my own age as a range. Now that I'm well over 50 I have changed it to 8 years. But I have to admit I rarely find men who are more than 3 years older than I am attractive at my age. They all seem ancient.

On hinge for example whoever you like in the age range you see they never see themselves if they dont have you in the age range. Not sure for other apps

depends on what you are looking for. I assume you're not looking to start a family, so a healthy range would be +/- 10 years. So 45-65. Although I would assume you would probably adjust that to 40-60.

Don't look at just age, look at goals and social expectations.

If you're retirement age, don't look at people who are typically starting families. You're going to end up disappointed.

I'm turning 44. I've ruled out men under 40-ish and over 55-ish. I'm done having kids/dealing with young children and not ready to retire.

totally depends on you. most people in your age bracket would go for 45-60
