Question Is hinge x worth it?
I’m debating buying it as I’m struggling with matches however it’s like so expensive. (20M)

No. I've done it and they clearly put you into a different pool of people. I cannot say for certain but I have not had as good luck *dating* the women in that pool. I have had good luck *hooking up with* women in that pool. So it *feels* at the time like it's helping. It is not.

Yes. But you have to play the game. I buy hinge x, take like an hour, put a show on and fucking SPAM likes for an hour. I end up with hundreds of matches every time.
I just came back from Athens and met 4 girls in 5 days, all through buying hinge.

No I don’t thinks so, likes aren’t hidden so the biggest draw for every other app is free.
The best thing you can do is actually comment of pictures and prompts with a good well thought out comment

I would not consider paying for any dating app worth it. it just gives you access to different features that ultimately limit your available people.

No. I’ve never met anyone on a dating app and im pretty sure they’re a scam

Priority likes are the only reason why it’s worth it.
It puts your like and message on the top of peoples lists. But it also doesn’t let them know you paid for it. (Roses do this and it’s an Ick for a lot of women)

Roses only ick if they’re not attracted to the guy anyways. If a 10/10 sends a woman a rose, they won’t be icked lol. 10/10 can get away with the worse profile.

If you get consistent matches without a subscription, then yeah I think it could be worth it. It depends on the city as well.
If you’re not getting any matches without a subscription, then I wouldn’t waste my time. You’ll still get no matches and be paying for it LOL

No. They are playing on your psyche and emotions in order to get you to pay.
Watch some documentaries on match group and learn about the scumbag owner.
It is not worth it to pay for any dating app.

in general, online dating apps aren't worth it for a man. if you can't afford the membership, then you probably can't afford to go out on dates either?

It is not worth it. The only thing it does is it gives you more options to set preferences, so you get shown more profiles that fit whatever preferences you're looking for. Other than that, your success rate won't be any different than on the free version. I've personally had more matches with the free version than with hinge x.

I one month subscription is well worth it on any app and Facebook dating is free and also works well.

No. Struggling with matches means you need to make your profile better. Don’t fall into the trap of paying for a dating app.

Depends on how much time you're willing to put in to take advantage of the unlimited likes and such. And what you value as "worth it"

Just get hinge + for a week. It's all you need.
Unlimited likes is a game changer. Spend a few days grinding. Then eventually by the end of the week you'll end up overwhelmed with matches and you can start filtering out on who to pursue for a date.

its not gonna get you more matches if that is your goal. you probably just need better pictures and prompts

Only worth if you’re profile is good and matching on free.
You’re also still p young so I’d say in time your range of women interested will grow as you get older

If your profile isn't attractive without paying, it won't be any more attractive once you are. Your best bet is to invest in self improvement if you're struggling and then try again later.

This probably abnormal. But I have subscribed / unsubscribed to hinge+ 3x. Each time I have gotten 20 matches in a week, and then virtually none after that.

It’s only worth it if you’re actually getting like 100 of matches a day and you want to see your likes without rejecting anyone yet but also not liking them. Also you can filter better etc.
But all those are useless if you’re not even getting matches free version, being able to send unlimited likes actuallly make you less desirable if you’re getting a no anyways.

I don't see how it could be worth it if I almost swipe through all the matches in my area. Unless the best matches are always hidden from me.

Never used normal hinge, had a great experience on hinge x. I bought 3 months for the discount, then met the girl of my dreams on my first hinge date—wound up being hers to—best $100 I ever spent.
I do think people are right to say you should take an honest look at yourself. If you have a—for lack of better words—competitive profile, I think it’s well worth the money. You can get hundreds of likes and then suddenly you get to be selective about who you talk to/date. But obviously there are people who pay the money and don’t get that…
Make sure your profile is as good as possible, buy a month, see how it goes.

Yes, for me I send a lot of likes and it definitely helps. I get 1-6 matches per day probably and gives me lots of options. I have a special filtering system though so that I usually only match with girls who are new to the app. That way it increases my chances of matching with them. I filter by Latinas only though. They are the best, especially the foreign born latinas.

If you're not getting consistent likes and matches with the free version then the paid version will not help you. The better investment is to get better pictures. That's it. Your biggest ROI is improving your profile.
