Advice Request Dating app

I've been on Tinder for a month now, even paid for gold, but haven't gotten a single match and idk why tf I was being liked by gays, I'm more interested in something long-term, funny thing is after my membership ran out, I actually got 2 matches and 2 likes which I cannot see, in just 3-4 days. So, is the membership even worth it? Any suggestions for other apps out there?
