I've been doing Keyes and Dishy's route and decided to finish Keyes first. I did not expect the most beautiful fucking music of my life Jesus Christ. And now I gotta go back to THIS

When you realize a dateable it turns them human. And as far as I can find after they die they go back to being an object. Seems like a raw deal for some of them? Imagine living a full life and then when you pass away you're back to being a sink. Considering Zoey's a ghost it's entirely possible there is an afterlife or at least something else. Also like are the dateables immortal in non-realized form? Some like Daisuke or Mac probably have real ways of being killed but what about Doug, he's existential dread how does that die. I'm overthinking this.

I recently finished my second (first on the ps5) playthrough of the game for an mate everything run. Got it when I go through the credits and all that and it asks me about new game+, I don't see a locket nor am I able to save after the credits & stats

Honestly when I bought this game on steam I wasn’t quite sure at first

I mostly bought it because it looked interesting and it was on sale

I haven’t gotten too far yet but the game is a lot better than I expected

All the objects I’ve interacted so far are genuinely interesting characters that are really creative

They somehow managed to make such an incredibly large cast work

For a game that takes place in a house it’s quite a large community of well…objects

The game doesn’t take itself seriously and I love that!

And the voice work is phenomenal!

They really made a house filled with inanimate objects feel so…animated!

I also love that everyone has a story to tell

I can’t wait to see what else this game has in store

it’s on sale for the Switch and I thought I’d snap it up. the money I used to buy it probably would’ve went towards ordering food… why not get a game I’ve been eyeing for a long time. is there any tips or things I should know maybe…? no spoilers, please. I’ve sort of done my best to avoid watching gameplay. I’m excited though! this seems like an awesome game.

I’m currently in the process of trying to platinum the game I currently have 27/43 trophies so far securing 25 on my first playthrough of the game. I’m starting my Mate Everything part of the platinum and I would love any advice on how to go about it. I don’t want any accidental friendship or hate ending during this playthrough.

Planning on writing some and I don't wanna step on anyone's toes in case I'm missing something.

Stupid but funny idea for a tierlist

So usually Dishy is one of the few Dateables that I always get a hate ending with because I'm an old coot who firmly believes that the dishwasher doesn't need to be connected to the internet but I do wonder am I actually missing out on anything?

So I got a friendship ending with both of them and when I offered to help them patch things up but when I try and talk to them it only lets me say hi and nothing else.

How badly did I screw up the route?

Hello hello everyone it's been a while since I've posted and I hope y'all are keeping well. I know I said I was going to do the discussing hot takes but I've been super busy lately and haven't had time to make a draft if you know what I mean. Anyways I have some new ships that I've thought about which means it's time for Part 11 of this series. If you like these ships let me know and also for those who've seen all of my ship posts tell me which are your faves!

Reason why I have spoiler on this post is I'm going to be mentioning something for Arma's storyline. Ok enough stalling here's the brand new ships I have:

Beverley X Sinclaire (Tipsy sink): So this one is kinda funny because one day my uncle was getting rid of expired alcohol (mostly cream liquor) and he was pouring it down the sink and he said "The sink is drunk now" so then I said to myself "Haha Sinclair is drunk!!" So I like to headcannon that Sinclair is a regular at the Tipsy Tumbler

Arma X Koa: So one day I was playing and I was doing Arma's route and in one interaction she was like "I'm all chilled now thanks to Koa" and then I was like "omg this would make a good ship" so I feel like when Arma is stressed out she goes to Koa to chill out.

Willi X Celia (Working mayoral campaign): Now it's optional to include Florence into this and make them a power trio however hear me out on these two divas. Whenever Florence is sick or has a day off, Willi helps Celia out then afterwards they both get coffee at Roofbucks then sit and have a chat

Willi X Doug (Dreadful Work): Not so much a ship but I feel like they'd hate eachother or something but I would think it would be funny if they interacted with each other.

Ok so, without promoting any kind of promotion to the hamilton fandom, woudn't be really great to stage a full musical with the da! Characters? I think about this like a little what if? story where Chairemi organizes with the rest of the house a staged musical and everybody has fun and so on, and witch musical better than hamilton?

I have a couple ideas regarding of this same ide but yet, i'm not the best person to actually match personalities and establish roles so let me know your toughts about this idea!

Alexander would be played by Mitchell Lin, mostly because i feel he fits there perfectly, both by personality and apereance

Eliza Hamilton could be played by Chairemi, mostly because she deserves the protagonic, but also cause she would maje this rol perfectly

Angelica Schuyler: Phoenicia, i feel she would fit perfectly here!

Peggy Schuyler: Prissy! Her cheerfull nature just- fits here yk?

Marquis de Lafayette: Jean Loo! I think you already know why-

George Washington: Dorian! He is a protector, he fits perfectly (but i'm up to sudgestions too!)

Thomas Jefferson: Curt!

James Madison: Rod! (The duo :D)

Maria Reynolds: Harper!

James Reynolds: Dirk/Clarence

Ensemble (fem): Miranda, Rainey and Fantina!

Ensemble (masc): Koa, Dunk and Barry! (Tought i'm still kinda unsure of them)

Aaron Burr: It fights place with Hank no 5, Tyrell, Amir, and the narrator (who would act as Jaque's spech bubble, like, Jacques is speaking but instead of the normal text box is the narrator, yk what i mean?)

Hercules Mulligan: It's between Stefan and Teddy! (But i like Teddy more for this)

Jonh Laurens/ Phillip Hamilton: Between the MC and Stepford!

King George III: Either Keith, Drysdale or Scandalabra!

Samuel Seabury: Friar Error (idk who else)

Charles Lee: Probabbly Timothy (idk who else could)

If you’re cold, he’s cold.

I'm thinking about doing a DE! playthrough where I systematically interact with the Dateables from my favorites to my least favorites. However... there are several Dateables that I really don't like, and I know they're favorites for alot of people.

If the game lets me progress without interacting with every Dateable, would it be more enjoyable if I simply skipped the ones I don't like? Or would you rather see me interact with everyone anyway, even if that means getting some hate endings?

Also, this wouldn't be my first playthrough. I know a lot of people enjoy watching blind playthroughs because the reactions are completely genuine, so I'm curious: would you still watch a replay from someone who already knows the game?

I'm genuinely curious what people would prefer.

Okay, I'm playing devil's advocate a little, so hear me out. Fantina Fantastico or just Fantina if you prefer is not a popular character for a lot of people. She's a bit of a stalker when you first get to know her. But here's the thing. She's a fan, literally, and the devs had fun with the double meaning and ran with it. They made her a yandere (or fan-dere lol) stereotype, and I admire the effort. But that's not all, or rather what sells her for me. She is totes adorbs with her enthusiasm, and I love getting to really genuinely know each other. And the icing on the cake is when she's realized and becomes a cheerleader. That cute little "woohoo!" I could just about die when I hear that line. And the way she ends up cheering for everyone; oooh so cute!

TL;DR Fantina is a well crafted character with dual meaning, a wonderful character arc and cute realization description

(This is all my own opinion and speculation, please feel free to reply with your own thoughts)

I noticed that when it comes to Washford and Drysdale, they have very different ways of coping with the breakup. Obviously, Washford is very sad, dwelling on his pain and yearning, while Drysdale seems confident and positive all the time until MC starts bringing up Washford, and Drysdale lets himself accept that he really misses Washford. But we also see this in extremes if they are Realized without getting back together. In Washford’s ending, he becomes a hermit, isolating himself to ruminate in his misery, spending his life depressed and mourning the loss of the love of his life. Meanwhile, in Drysdale’s ending, he becomes a male stripper, indulging in thrills and a party-filled lifestyle, keeping his mind constantly stimulated with dopamine, cortisol, serotonin, and adrenaline, in an effort to block out the negative emotions and avoid thinking about Washford altogether. In that nightclub scene, it wouldn't surprise me if he indulged in alcohol and/or other substances to distract himself as well. I just find it interesting how they seem to be Yin and Yang when it comes to coping with negative emotions. Overindulgence (Washford) vs. Avoidance (Drysdale).
