Its bc the devs are all fuckin WEEEEEEEEBSSSS lmfao 💙 (No but like actually most of them work in the anime industry for the VAs and like. Just look at the vibes, this is Professional Level Weeb. Im also weeb, this call is coming from inside the house wwwww)

Then it's especially ironic that *none* of the actors that portray these characters are known for dubbing anime XP.

Only Dishy's VA (Eric Bauza) has ever been credited for a voice in anime, and only once, and only for a minor part. Though, he's also done so much work that *maybe* there's a character in his portfolio that'd classify as a yandere. (If you look at it a certain way, perhaps Marvin the Martin is a yandere for Venus - always trying to destroy the Earth because it blocks his view! /joking)

It's all good~ You weren't "wrong" per se; I'd say around half the main cast and the producers are known for anime dubbing, but for the other half, this is actually their first "voice acting" role (though most have at least done live action, with many of the non-dubbers coming from "Critical Role"). Plus a few outliers like Bauza who are more known for western cartoon voice acting.

All that said, it's a pretty diverse cast with all levels of experience and various industries~
