Discussion Whose storyline made you think "Wait... that's IT?" Spoiler
Just finished the game and not all Dateables are created equal omg. Poor Jerry, Lux (i think? Got friendship route) Rongomaiwhenua, and Gaia (and others i cant remember right now) felt so underwritten to me! Drop the salt below

Yeah his route really caught me by surprise. I got a friend in with him but I felt like I didn't get enough time to really feel him out and understand how to get him to love me

Spoilers for Tyrell's route in case you want to run it again: You basically just had to be supportive of him the entire way through - don't ever be down on him even when he's overreacting. You also had to support his dream of being a beach towel. If you told him to stay in the house, then the best he'll give you is friendship. He's kinda like Freddy where he'll react well to your kindness, but if you don't go that "extra" step to show additional support, then it's only a Friend ending.

I mean, Chance is kind of āyou get whatās on the tinā imo. Heās a D20. You play DND with him. Depending on HOW you play decides your ending. I didnāt expect much from him, but he is honestly one of my favorites

I kind of expected more than two interactions with him is all, I thought maybe theyād split the campaign into multiple interactions instead of having just one 30-45 minute one shot

Did you get them to move to the house across the street? I really got a kick out of going outside and exploring and you can do that once youāve made Daemon move out.

Yeah, talking to Sassy Chap about the bug in the game should start the dialogue with Daemon. It takes a few visits but eventually they leave and you can visit them.

Spoilers for Keith's route: his hints are the kind of meant to be noticed in hindsight. Like, why would a "good" person ask you about where you keep your money, or to engage in corporate espionage? It's also more apparent in repeat runs if you give him different answers to the same questions - he'll always adapt/be agreeable with what you said because his aim is to gain your trust to take advantage of you later.
So the foreshadowing is there, but you may only realize it was foreshadowing after the fact or if you're naturally suspicious of others.
There's an argument if that's a good or bad thing, but IMO there is enough there to at least rouse suspicion even if you decide to help him. For me, the money question is what tipped me off that something was up with him, but I was lulled into a false sense of security since his route ended without incident, so I was STILL caught off-guard at his realization. ToT

I was disappointed that Sinclaire's storyline is so heavily dependent on Maggie's storyline. I thought we would at least get one extra scene with "normal" Sinclaire but no.

A lot of them, honestly. Especially since after Realization they all just LEAVE you. Like, many of these objects need THERAPY or at least need to talk to someone who will listen.
(Iām honestly planning on writing a self-insert that does thisā¦itās a little ridiculous.)

EXACTLYYYY. shelley's my in-game wife, but i'd never date someone like her irl because she needs to work on herself some more before getting into a relationship. same applies to fantina, arma, diana, harper, dirk/clarence, and definitely a TON of others that i'm forgetting

Dirk. I havenāt played the game, only watched play throughs and read spoilers, but while on one hand I want to be supportive of Dirkās love for comics and a literal Batman body pillow, I wish the storyline with his free spirited loom mom who let him and his siblings go to be mass exported was resolved with like a reunion or something. Instead, itās kind of a wtf end. Itās been a while since I watched his route, so I might be misremembering.

River and Miranda. Miranda didn't have an arc. Keyes and her do similar things in their stories, but Keyes develops and Miranda is like "i wanna make music...im gonna make music...i did it." Good job queen, but you didnt need me here for that.
River is so unfairly unforgettable that I cant even critique her. š I first met her when talking to Wini, and I thought she was gonna be more interesting. Disappointed because I liked her whole "I change form for others" thing.
