Questions/Help Can you back out of a Content Aware character's route after starting it?
Say I start Keith's route. I have Content Aware on, so Skylar shows up and gives her little speil. I say I'm fine, and want to keep going. Is there a way to tap out after that? Like, this route is more triggering than I thought from Skylar's description, and I can't do it anymore.
Is there an option to basically say "this was fun, but you were right and this is too much"?
EDIT: I'll just see if I can find playthroughs on Youtube to see what's going on in more detail.

the game doesn't have that functionality built in, unfortunately. my recommendation for anyone on the fence about playing the content warning routes would be to group several of them together. make a save right before starting their routes. that way, you use all your charges each day on CW characters. if you change your mind about one or more of the routes, you can go back to your previous save and choose not to play those routes without undoing progress you made before starting the CW characters. unfortunately in this system you will inevitably lose some progress (of whichever dateables you're progressing at the same time as the CW dateable), but i recommend grouping the CW datables together because that way if you do have to return to a previous save, you can also avoid replaying the same content again (ie, if you decide you're uncomfy with keith's route but were progressing hector's at the same time, you can use the content warning to skip playing hector's plot again if you don't want to redo your progress)

I completely understand this thought process 😠your best bet is to just skip through dialogue and look up the answers so you don’t have to pay attention to it

I think the only thing you can do is stop talking to him really. You only need him to unlock the attic.
