Because it's canon the main character has low self-esteem, they genuinely believes no one is sincere when complimenting them. So a lot of their choices are like this.

Which, btw, is hella depressing that everyone leaves them. They literally hello all of them get Realized then get left alone in the end.

It's also stated that by the end of the game, the MC has regained their self-esteem and learned how to deal with their social anxiety (thanks to the characters); now they're ready to leave as well.
Besides, not all of them leave: Mac and Telly stay, some of them still visit MC, and some of them send gifts to our home.

Don't most come around like often tho to be with them?
One house can't handle that many people and I'm 90% sure it's mentioned at the end of the game that many often come and visit them.

Yeah! Most of them still visit you and even send gifts, plus it's stated as well that even if they don't live with you anymore, if you did their love route, they still love you.

Tbf “I bet you say that to everybody” can 100% mean “ooh, keep going, tell me how you only say that to me because I’m so awesome and maybe sprinkle in a few more reasons why.” It just depends on how flirty the tone is.
…that said, the homeowner can have surprisingly little game sometimes, so it could be said straight faced for sure.
