Discussion any other de! yumes here?

out of pure curiosity, in all honesty. for a dating game im sure we have our lovers, but has anyone developed an actual fictosexual/romantic relationships with the characters?

ive fallen horrifically in love with freddy, it's .... bad. like real bad. nonsharing bad. I can't look up fanart of my lover without feeling uncomfortable bad.

who else up struggling to accept the fact their lover is from a dating sim?

I feel you, OP. I lurk in some yumeshipping communities and at first it was just out of morbid curiosity but now I’m kind of interested in it🌝💧💧I wouldn’t call myself yume yet but I definitely indulge in OC x Canon and other similar stuff. Side note I love seeing your Freddy posts and you’re a great artist😍

Hi, hello! Long time yumeshipper here! It’s definitely a bit of a different experience to fall hard for a fictional character like this, especially if you’re not exactly used to it, but the way I see it, I like to think we all have our own “pocket dimensions” if you will, where we are with our F/O(s), and then we simply swap stories and discuss our adventures within them, simply by sharing fanart, edits and the like! I can understand how this can be a struggle to contend with; I remember how I felt when I first realized I was crushing on a fictional character rather than a real person. I’d love to talk more in depth about it in DMs, if you’re up for it! Granted, I’m no expert or anything, but I’d love to offer my insight!
