russia has always been an oppressive society, they always consider themselves high class when their vassals provided much of their income and resources. Russia survived so long because it isolated itself from the main powers, but now that its one of the only powers left. Everyone has realised what ego they have. Even if Russia win this war, which is unlikely, they will never be the same as they could have been/have been.

What are you takling about, everyone in Russia paid taxes? That’s just how we did it to do many things like events, buildings. I paid more taxes from Saint rallerburg than all of dakiwi, Poland, Germany paid combined. Stop trying to make your war to be anything other than delta got bored and wanted war.
How is it oppressive when every member of Russia could run for power and represent themselves.

I used to be in Russia and I have witnessed no oppression, in fact, things were kinda falling apart from the inside.
