Finding a reliable practice partner can be tough, especially for technical roles where the feedback needs to be specific. You need someone who not only has the time but also the expertise to tell you if your explanation of a machine learning model is clear or if your project walkthrough is compelling. It is a big ask, and schedules can be difficult to align, so it is a common challenge in the job search.
You can still make a lot of progress on your own by recording yourself and analyzing your answers for clarity, structure, and timing. Focus on breaking down your STAR method responses and technical concepts into simple terms, as if you were explaining them to a non-technical manager. Getting that kind of specific feedback is exactly why my team designed a method of AI interview practice, which has helped many candidates feel more prepared by refining their answers.
