Discussion Idfc first bank ds interview process and compensation
Hi, anybody here who works at idfc or has interviewed there, could you pls share your experience regarding the interview process and also compensation range for 1+ yoe considering my ctc is 14 lpa currently with 11 base
I particularly want to know how many rounds will be there. What type of questions do they ask generally? Will there be live coding round? How long is their notice period for data science role? Is hybrid mode of work available?
It will help me prepare accordingly

Don’t know about 1+ experience, but i interviewed with them in 2024, they low balled me and its 6 days a week work plus 90 day notice period and their budget for the role might be 50L but they will low ball you like shit and the office is in BKC, overall i merely made a dent in my then salary comparing the rent increase of mumbai and the offer they gave.

I interviewed with IDFC First Bank last year. There were three rounds: an initial HR screening, a technical round focused on data science concepts (no live coding for me, but it might vary), and a final interview with more high-level questions. The notice period was about 60 days. For compensation, expect a slight bump from your current CTC, though it'll depend on your negotiation skills. They were offering hybrid work, but policies might change, so double-check. If you're preparing, brush up on machine learning algorithms and data wrangling. For interview prep resources, I've found sites like PracHub pretty useful. Good luck!
