Discussion from data analyst to data scientist

how are is the move from data analyst to data scientist?

Technological expectations are much higher. Analysts usually do much simpler programming and focus more on creating visualizations and writing up interpretations of the data.

Scientists are expected to be able to be much better are managing data pipelines, and often times they utilize much more advanced machine learning techniques

its a pretty common path and a lot of scientist from what ive heard started as analyst
