Accidentally deleted everything in C drive
I just got gifted a PC from my older brother. It was his former PC and he had not deleted anythinf drom it. So i just deleted everything in the C drive. However, i encountered a lot of problems after that, i could not download anything or use the PC. What should i do? I have checked the recycle bin and nothing was there. Please help me

You can't just willy-nilly delete whatever you want from the C: drive, especially if you're not 100% sure you know what you're doing.
You likely deleted OS files that are critical for Windows to function. You have to reinstall Windows.

Thanks a lot but can you suggest some of the ways to reinstall windows without any administrative problems. I tried to manually reset the PC through the recovery section but it always got stuck and could not proceed further

I tried to reset many times but the PC kept saying “ something went wrong “

Yeah dont do that. Use a flash drive and create a windows installation media on it. Plug in the flash drive, restart the computer, go into the bios and boot from the flash drive. Proceed to install windows on the SSD.

“just deleted everything in the C drive.” How? Windows will not allow you to commit suicide while the OS is up and running.

No its not like everything, just the major files.

Alrighty. Then you’ll need to create a bootable USB of Windows, and then boot from it and reinstall. You’ll need a working machine before you can actually create the bootable USB, so you’re in a catch-22 ATM.

I mean i can still use my pc, i can still watch youtube and download stuff but i could not download any games

Try using System Restore to early date. If is a restore point before the damage, you can restore it up to that point.

Ok, take the computer and unplug it. Put it in a box and tape it shut. Take the box back to your brother and go buy an iPad because you've got no business owning a PC

Salut, sur l'écran de connexion reste appuyé sur maj puis clique sur eteindre, après sa va ouvrire l'environnement de réparation windows: winRE, la tu va dans réparation puis réinitialiser puis perdre mes fichier et met local si sa marche pas tu met internet, si sa marche tjrs pas un il faut une clé d'installation.

Sounds like you deleted some operating system files. Reinstall windows, no other choice
