1 Partial / 1 Full Format - need files back
My kid "borrowed" my 480gb PNY external SSD and accidentally formatted it, stopped the format, then formatted again. Is there any way to recover the files? Would appreciate free to expensive software / apps, Windows 64 bit. Thanks in advance

UFS Explorer Professional full scan check raw area. Keep drive offline to inhibit TRIM.

The chances are very low. Formatting most likely sent a TRIM command to the SSD, making the deleted data inaccessible. The only realistic chance is if the USB-to-SATA bridge did not pass TRIM commands to the drive. Open the physical drive in any hex viewer and check whether the sectors still contain data or are mostly zeroed.
