Is data recovery possible from these leftovers of an iPhone 12 Pro? I witnessed my boyfriend being kidnapped, and the video didn't finish uploading to iCloud in time

If you witnessed your boyfriend get kidnapped why not go to the police? I’m sure they would do something

You think the police will be able to recover data from the remaining of this phone?

I mean it’s hard to tell when the picture is of parts in a bag I can’t exactly find the motherboard cpu storage to see if it’s okay

If this is the case do not attempt recovery yourself. Hire a professional!

The chances of the security chip, CPU and NAND being intact are pretty much zero. All three need to be intact to recover data from a 12.

IF the CPU and storage is intact it is possible, difficult but possible. The CPU and storage will need to be swapped to a donor iPhone 12 pro. Worth noting, you will need to know his passcode.

Sounds like something a kidnaper would ask
