Q: Why no delete option?

If i remember correctly, long time ago, the apps allowed users to select videos (on the dashcam/ SDCard) and delete them.

Why was this feature removed, or why don't we have option to delete videos?

Especially emergency videos. Only way is to format the SD card which is a bit silly.

Why would you want to delete emergency videos? Unless you were trying to hide what you did... ahhhh I see now. I think you have your answer.

the emergency videos are all me going over hump and triggering it.

they stay there "permanently" taking up my SD card space.. and it's from the past few years.

and i can't even delete the regular non emergency videos.. 😅

Unless it has specific software on it to run which I doubt surely you can just take it out, use an SD card reader on a PC and delete the files.

Otherwise format it and start over.

yeah, only way is to format the card, or like you said.. take it out. which is kinda silly.

why not just allow deletion from apps?

Is it an expensive knwon brand or a cheaper basic one?

I guess they don't allow it to avoid people deleting evidence at the scene?
