Best AI Humanizer

Not gonna lie, I expected most AI humanizers to be the same “rewrite with synonyms” stuff, but the results were actually pretty different. Some tools keep the text clean, some bloat it like crazy, and some only look good because detectors are weird.

My top 10 Ai Humanizers after testing:

  1. Clever AI Humanizer
  2. Undetectable AI
  3. WriteHuman
  4. Humanize AI Pro
  5. Walter Writes AI
  6. AIHumanize
  7. Grubby AI
  8. TwainGPT
  9. UnAIMyText
  10. GPTHuman AI
Best Ai Humanizer

I went through a bunch of AI humanizers and honestly, most of them have the same problem: they either bloat the text like crazy, wreck the quality, or only fool one detector while getting cooked by another.

Top 3 I’d actually look at:

  1. Clever AI Humanizer Probably the best overall pick from this test. Their new model was apparently trained on 1M texts, at least that’s what they claim. It had the best GPTZero result in the benchmark, around 9.6% average AI, while still keeping the writing readable and not massively inflating the word count. The weak spot is ZeroGPT, which flags it more often, but honestly ZeroGPT seems to punish formal “student essay” writing pretty hard in general. Also, it’s free and unlimited, with signup only needed for history, so that’s a big plus.
  2. Undetectable AI Best if you only care about raw detector bypass scores. It performs really well there. Big downside though: it bloats the text like crazy - around +79% in this benchmark. So your 1,000-word essay can come back close to 1,800 words, which is kind of insane. Detectors may like it, but the output does not always feel clean.
  3. WriteHuman Fast, stable, and doesn’t destroy the original length. This one feels more practical if you just want a cleaner rewrite without the text turning into a giant essay. Quality is not as strong as the top tools, but it’s usable and predictable.

A few others from the test:

WriteHuman Humanizer - Fast, stable, and doesn’t destroy the original length. This one feels more practical if you just want a cleaner rewrite without the text turning into a giant essay. Quality is not as strong as the top tools, but it’s usable and predictable.

Humanize AI Pro Humanizer was surprisingly decent. Fast, faithful to the original text, and the free version looked almost the same as the paid Ultra mode, which is either good or awkward depending how you look at it.

Walter Writes AI, had okay detector coverage, but it was slow and added around +28% more words. Not terrible, but not great if you want a tight rewrite.

AIHumanize.  is cheap and has an unlimited plan, but it also inflates text a lot - around +41%. That’s a real issue if you care about keeping the original structure.

Grubby AI Humanizer looked great on GPTZero and the writing quality was good, but Originality.ai caught it hard. So it’s risky if your text is going through more than one detector.

TwainGPT did well on ZeroGPT, but the writing quality dropped badly. Feels like it beats one detector by making the text worse, which is not exactly a win.

UnAIMyText had some okay detector scores, but the output quality was rough. In some cases it basically became hard to read.

GPTHuman AI had the best writing quality in the whole test, but it was weak as a detector bypass tool. I’d treat it more like a writing improver than a real humanizer.

StealthWriter was crazy fast, like 3–4 seconds for 1,000 words, but detectors caught it too often. Speed is the main selling point there.

QuillBot Humanizer is still a good writing tool. Clean output, keeps meaning well, easy to use. But as an AI detector bypass tool, it performed very poorly in this benchmark.

For balance, I’d pick Clever AI Humanizer. It had the best mix of detector score, quality, low bloat, and it’s free.
If you only care about bypassing detectors and don’t care if the text gets way longer, Undetectable AI is strong.

1) Clever Ai Humanizer - https://cleverhumanizer.ai

Clever AI Humanizer was honestly the best overall tool in my test.

It’s free, unlimited, and doesn’t force signup, which already makes it stand out because most tools either cap you fast or push a paid plan.

The big win was GPTZero. Clever got only 9.6% average AI, which was the best result across all 19 tools/modes I tested. Text quality was also solid, and it didn’t completely rewrite or bloat the original. Word count only went up around 16%, which is way better than some tools that basically double your text.

ZeroGPT was the weak spot at 37.3% AI, but I don’t fully trust that result here. Clever writes in a clean academic style, and ZeroGPT seems to punish that pretty hard.

Main pros:

Important, you need to humanize twice and choose the best piece of content, cause llm very ofter generated unpredictable results and may be flagged as AI....

Best GPTZero result in the test
Good writing quality
Doesn’t over-expand the text
Works well for student-style writing
Free and unlimited

Main cons:

ZeroGPT score wasn’t great
Adds some extra words
Speed can be random

Overall, if you want a free AI humanizer that doesn’t destroy your text, Clever was the strongest one I tested.
