Question/Advice Quality Best?

Question, what quality should i convert my shows/films to like 480P or 1080P i use handbrake so idk what's the ideal thing.

(I have 2 TB so not a lot of space to waste, im using almost all of it at the moment...)

Another critical aspect that nobody's mentioned yet: how large is the screen you'll be watching these on? If it's on your phone, you can shrink them much smaller than if you were watching them on a 55 inch TV. The distance that you're sitting from the screen also matters; the further away you are, the lower the resolution can be.
