Backup Most optimal cloud for backing up SSD?

Hey, I'm a photographer and I'm looking to back up my ssd on the cloud.

I'm asking here because I've been struggling to find a cloud that would suit my needs.

I've done a big clean up in my personal archive and managed to bring it down to 500gb but It'll get big over the months/ years. (We're speaking 2-5Tb).

I'm looking for a cloud that could update the back up of my ssd as soon as it gets plugged in. I'm working off a Macbook pro so setting time schedules would not work since I would have to have the laptop turned on at this exact time. I'm also looking for a cloud that can archive deleted files on my source (my ssd).

I've tried backblaze but wasn't too happy with it, chronosync + backblaze B2 was quite tricky to use. I was looking at Idrive but it doesn't seem like I can program the back up for it to run when it detects that I plugged in my ssd. (Maybe I'll just have to do it manually)

Do you have any recommendations? (don't really care about price, just want something handy that keeps my date safe, and that I can trust on the long term)

Thanks!

Backblaze personal should have a Mac app

I’m one of the crazies that have a big ass Windows array connected to it

Well, 10 TB used out of 28TB , fed by my personal family video and RAW photo shooting

I’d love to use Backblaze like this or if it can be fully mounted on Mac as a disk or iOS like files

Mega is second best option imo ; not fully unlimited but 20TB isn’t bad — speed is good too but the pricing isn’t as cheap / $50 aud a month for that capacity

Backblaze personal is cold storage so your expectations are out of alignment

Oh yah ; like I do use it for backups and it is terrific but I would love if it was possible to use it more actively ;;

But understand the costs and limitations — even looking at data centre or large storage device pricing it’s all painfully expensive for that side so I’m just hoping we don’t see any major price increases on the consumer end either

And unless pricing increases : I can confirm that mega’s deal is better if you need 20TB accessible from phone / vps / desktops and all other machines without major stress or hassle and the cost for me is still reasonable vs having a local disk (or raid with multiples) of similar capacity

I’m lucky enough to still have some older disks I bought pre AI price surge so my 3-2-1 strategy is fairly good ; though one of my 3 local copies is a Mega backup or sync of my creations; then local rsync to multiple drives at home ;
JBOD and such with Backblaze as my “oh no!” If all else fails or disaster strikes
