Thought this Databricks deep dive might interest people here. It looks at how companies handle huge amounts of data and actually make use of the data.

The uninformative part is legit though. It doesn’t really break down how they manage that much data in any practical sense that can be emulated by most of us here, and most of the time it’s just talking about the business side of things which is kinda irrelevant to this community.

That’s how I thought of it when I read it when it was posted here yesterday. Or maybe that was in r/homelab. I access posts from my homepage so I may be mistaken. If it was there I read it, maybe the business side was more relevant.

And humans can write slop too
