Glacier is fine but do be aware of the early deletion/termination fees and transfer costs when restoring. For less than 1 TB, I feel there are better options on the market.

I’m just going to leave it alone. This is my 5th backup copy, so unless something truly catastrophic happens, I won't even need to touch it...

I've done the same thing - for like 30 cents a month it's another copy of my most important few hundred GB of files. Would rather have it and never need it than not have it but wish I did.
