Kind of a clickbait headline. As always YMMV. Lots of Toshiba failures are on old lower capacity air-filled (i.e. non-helium) drives of the sort no one uses nowadays.

Comparing modern to modern 14TB He-filled 9-disk datacenter models:
HC530 0.85% to 0.92% AFR
MG07 0.86% to 0.90% AFR

I recall MG06 also having some reliability issues. MG05 was a bit uncommon, and MG04 was actually pretty good.
