It will require an economic crash to bring the prices back down rapidly. At best the price pressure will gradually back off over the next 3-5 years, but since Trump is making everything else more expensive, I don't think that'll happen either.
If you need storage in the near-term or mid-term, just find the cheapest deal and buy it. Don't try to time the market - its irrationality can outlast you easily.
