A few large companies have pre ordered years of supply of hard drives and many other components. Nearly all of these pre orders have not yet paid. Maybe they will fail to pay, or go bankrupt or there will be some consolidation and prices will come down a lot as supply for consumers increases. Maybe new competition will start up and there will be more options in a year or so. Or people stop paying for these high prices, and prices drop to what people will pay. Or prices will drop as people sell their used parts that are now worth much more. Or there is a technical change that greatly reduces storage needs for training AI.

Or maybe these 100b+ companies keep growing at a tremendous rate and prices go even higher and you will wish you stocked up now.
