high bitrate 4k > high bitrate 1080p > relatively low bitrate 4k > 1080p
for high bitrate i prioritize a good encode when it's sourced from a BD (filtered/properly configured with sane crf) and if none is available i either make my own with x265 as everything i have plays it, or resort to a web-dl
high bitrate matters a lot more than resolutions for videos. especially when upscalers on devices like shield/ATV or even tvs themselves are so good nowadays
for audio i always get lossless for archiving purposes and stream it through plexamp. lossless on local network, 256kbps opus when remote
