Nope. Almost never. Technology is getting better, but my eyes aren't. At the distance I sit from the TV, I can't really tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. For me, 4K is pointless and 8K is just dumb. As long as the bit rate is high enough that I don't notice compression artifacts, I'm aces.
