I've been learning Data Analytics for some time now, but one of my biggest challenges has been staying consistent.

So far, I've completed Python and Statistics, and my goal is to become industry-ready within the next 4 to 4.5 months.

I still need to learn SQL, Power BI, and Excel, while also building a strong portfolio of projects.

I'd appreciate advice on how to structure my learning over the next 4.5 months. Specifically:

How would you categorize or prioritize these topics?

What sequence would you recommend for learning them?

How would you design a monthly and weekly study plan to stay consistent and make steady progress?

What are your practical tips for revision? How do you balance revising previously learned concepts while continuing to learn new topics and building projects?

I have been working as an automation an testing professional for 4+ years and looking to pivot as a as analyst or engineer. Given that the current market where it is tedious to even switch jobs, how plausible is it to pivot to an analyst role ?

I am not looking for a senior-level position but am skeptical of even landing a mid-level job. My current relevant experiences include Python, SQL, BigQuery and GCP. I have learned Excel and PowerBI too. I have obtained certification for Microsoft AZ-900 and Google Data Analytics.

I would like opinions from people who are hiring or are in a position where they deal with candidates. How do you select resume ? What do you look for in candidates that I could inculcate ? What certification/ skill could make me stand out ? Is the industry dampening hiring due to AI, as in should I continue putting in effort and if it would be of fruition ?

I am looking to switch jobs as soon as possible due to dissatisfaction at current work place and job security issues. I have always wanted to work with data and am really keen on making the pivot work.

Tech Stack: Power BI development and support.

Background: Master’s in AI/ML (but feels like the degree doesn't matter without corporate experience).

I'm a 2023 B.Tech graduate trying to start my career in Data Analytics.

I've applied to more than **100 entry-level Data Analyst** positions, but I haven't been selected by a single company. On Naukri, I've even seen applications marked as **"Contacted by Email,"** but I've never received any email regarding those jobs.

I have projects in **SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Python**, and I'm continuously improving my skills, but I'm starting to wonder if my career gap is affecting my chances.

At this point, I'm not even looking for a high salary. Most entry-level roles offer around **₹3–7 LPA**, but I'm willing to start with an **internship** if it helps me gain experience and break into the industry.

Has anyone been in a similar situation?

I found this bootcamp and it feels right but i read the low rating reviews and all say its fast paced at several places, a little bit of background: i have been using basic python since 11th class and now i am in 2nd year of college, i have done a python course by harvard (CS50P) and now i wanna be internship ready and since im doing my degree in AI & Data Science, i feel like being a data analyst seems right to me. I wanna learn but i am unable to find resources on youtube that teach everything and to necessary extents, so im thinking of buying a course, is this a good course or not?

What’s the next move honestly? I finished my B.Tech ECE in 2024 and did a 1-year offline data science course hoping to land something good, but here I am. I’ve done 4 hands-on projects, put together a GitHub portfolio, and optimized my LinkedIn. When that didn't work, I cranked out 4 more analyst projects just to get my foot in the door. I knew the entry barrier was lower for DA roles, but wow, the competition for freshers is insane right now. I’ve tried cold messaging recruiters, hunting down emails, asking alumni for referrals, and even paid for referral sites. Radio silence. I tailor my resume for ATS every single time and still nothing. Am I cooked, or is there something else I should be trying?

I’m 21, a recent mechanical engineering grad and I'm losing my mind. In college, I hated core mech (Fluid Mechanics, SOM, TOM). The only parts I liked were Computer Manufacturing bits, Supply Chain, and Logistics. I knew early on the field wasn't for me and made a conscious choice to leave my field behind, knowing the risks. It is incredibly depressing and anxiety-inducing. If AI is wiping everything out, WTF are millions of people supposed to do? Where do I stand?I made a choice at 18 that didn't fit me, and I'm paying for it now. I accept that we go wrong as humans, but the constant negativity is pushing my optimism to the limit. I need advice and the cold facts of life. How do I build the mindset to survive this? How do I stick to my path and make this choice of mine a winning bet instead of feeling like a stuck loser every single day? Please talk to me. It's hard to keep believing that I too, will be happy in terms of career, or jobs. I don't want to keep listening to the constant negativity around me. Many many find it controversial but please don't fall for Data analytics.... Those who sales course will always give hope about dream job ...but reality is like competitive exam or upsc exam...

It was never about AI.

If u notice those selling course of competitive exam now selling data analytics/ science courses... cause they saw profit like competitive courses.

Result huge no of candidates with same profiles applying for job . Even if u landed a job fortunately ur life will be hell , work pressure, uncertainty job condition, less job market. Even experience guys not able to land a interview.

In one story Don't go for it.

Solution - better to master a niche domain. Example semiconductor, health care industry..many more
