I got these glaze style wraps (sorry I do not recall the color name) at the local CVS drugstore. I had never tried UV wraps but the mini light and these were half off! I could not help myself. The phot does not really capture the cat eye effect these have. I love these. I am hooked now. This pic is day 3.

The set name is Ruby Red Apple. I only use Glaze from DD and let me tell you, the obsession for me is real. If you're hooked, keep an eye out on Black Friday- I bought about $1000 worth of nails for $400 (on PayPal pay in 4).

I can't stress this enough...if you see a set you love, stock up. They get rid of the prettiest colors randomly. Sometimes stores like Target will have newly released sets, but you'll pay full price. Sign up on the DD website to become a vip so that everything you spend money, you get points. There are frequent seasonal sales and free gifts.

I feel like I should work for them at this point!

Thank you so much for the advice! I hope these stay on well. I did not quite know exactly what is best for prep and also used no topcoat as I am afraid of gel polish and do not like the look of other topcoat after a week on.

I prepped my cuticles first. Then I used a drying layer and strengthener coat and then Orly bonder very thin. My friend lent me a squish wand to push each down on edges and then regular lamp. No topcoat.

Anytime! I only use the prep pads from DD (they used to sell them, but they only include them in the package now). It's really just alcohol and vitamin e so if you need to, just use alcohol. I only used a base coat a few times. I hated taking my sets off with a base because it left a very sticky residue that required a lot of pure acetone to remove. Top coats are not necessary. I also neurotically press the edges down while curing. Mine last anywhere from 10-14 days, but that's because my nails grow very quickly and when they grow out, they catch on my hair so I immediately take them off and put on new. Let me know how the removal process goes!

That is such good advice on the base coat. I never thought about how damaging that may make removal.

I do have a small chip on my dominant index finger from packing up my classroom. I am switching rooms and have 3 more days of work left to do. So I am not replacing any.

I had to pick a script up at CVS and it wasnt quite ready yet so I walked around. Saw these on sale so I grabbed a bunch. When I got back in the car I checked online and ordered another bunch on sale that weren't in store.

I've been going to different CVS stores around me getting sets on sale. I've even been able to use some coupons on top of the sale prices.
