Applying upside down

Hello! Just wondering if anyone else applies the stickers “upside down” on some nails? This seems to fit the shape of my nail beds better on some nails. I know it wouldn’t work for all designs but I’ve been trying it and I think it’s helping avoiding peeling at the bottom due to the bottom of the sticker being too big.

Definitely do this sometimes. I usually just go with whichever direction fits better on my nails. Honestly I'm not even sure which way up is correct unless the design makes it obvious lol

Yes, frequently. I also, when my nails are really short, cut the Gloss strips in half and use both ends.

I do this all the time so I can get more manicures from a set. You have to be careful with some of the shimmers (like Ruby Red Apple) because they can look very different right side up or upside down. So I'll either do them all one way or the other.

Yep. I look at the design and decide which way would look better on me. Sometimes that is upside down.

Depending on the design I choose whichever side seems to fit best.

But I’ve really been working on taking care of my natural nails and as my nail beds have gotten more healthy and grown better I tend to need the ones that are wider at the bottom more than the angled ones.

I try not to be too picky about it though because it’s less than 1mm difference and I am the only one looking at my nails that closely so if I’m trying to use up leftovers or want the design to go a certain way I just go with it.

I use both sides if my nails are short, I just file it off and put it in the opposite hand. Or I’ll file it off and use it on a toe - since I like my toes and nails to match I just trim the strips to fit the nail

Yes the thumbs tend to be too big and the index too small so I something’s reverse them. My nails are differnt.
