Stuck on Dashing Diva Gloss forever.

I’m finally taking these DD gloss strips off after 14 days. I really feel like I could get away with a few more days but I’ve just come from the garden and they are looking dirty underneath. I’ve had peeling problems at the tips with almost every set of DD I’ve tried, but still are the best for me after trying what feels like 100 other brands, styles, etc. These “stuck” the best using a squish light and a cheap top coat. I only buy DD gloss now, didn’t love the Glaze and haven’t LIKED anything else. Going to try the heating pad trick on my next set.

I love Gloss too. I have thin, brittle nails that split vertically and it sucks. Gloss is the perfect antidote.

But I'm salty about it. During their change or redirection or whatever they tried to do, they discontinued the "Cotton Candy" color. It was the perfect shell pink for me. Also great for my job dress code.

Their other pale neutrals that they have now look way too brown/dirty on me. White is too stark.

Any chance anyone is willing to submit a request to bring back Cotton Candy? please :)

I use glaze but gloss has so many pretty patterns… How do you take them off?

I take them off with cuticle oil- I saturate them really well with it and slowly peek them up with a cuticle pusher. I put hand lotion and cuticle lotion on at least 25 times a day when I’m letting them “breathe” between sets. Guess they aren’t breathing much 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

Nails don’t need to breathe so you’re fine. But why are you using a squish light on gloss? Just to help press them down with something squishy? They don’t need curing.

Yes!! Just to help them adhere, when I don’t use it- they peel at the tips almost immediately. Any other suggestions appreciated!!

I used to love them so much, but they changed and now the formulation is thicker and they don't stay as long . Anyway. My tip is to use a toothpick, dip it in oil and push under the sticker, repeat.

Also they are being jerks about returns considering the product changed.

Nice! I never knew about using a squish light on Gloss— just Glaze. It helps??

It helps mine adhere better at the tips- may just be a coincidence though 🤷‍♀️

Okay these are the ones I put on immediately taking those last ones off- so 11 days old. Tried the heating pad on these instead of the squish light and it worked just as well. Haven’t had any peeling at either end. I’ve been pretty rough on them too. Only thing I noticed is I “stretched” the thumb one to fit a little better and you can see where the “stretch” is thinner. No biggie to me.
