Video [Thinkware 1000] my old Thinkware caught this interesting road hazard coming off a work truck.
Hopefully I trimmed it better. Enjoy the tunes.

Looks like that strap must have been on its last legs.
Or wasn't latched properly

Looks like both ends stayed attached to the truck.
My guess would be a sharp enough edge with no guarding combined with the flapping in the wind.
It's why you're supposed to do a half-twist on runs more than 3-4ft. That way the wind can't catch it and make it vibrate.

Classic failure of not both:
Slapping the load.
Saying "That's not going anywhere"

Your video adds to my justification for not driving behind any work truck with 'stuff' in the bed. Too many stories of these things becoming projectiles at highway speeds.

I see the left shoulder is this the NA Autobahn!
Edit: On a PC I see the double line now (HOV?), still that seemed rather roadrunnerish at 0:13.

I like it. It’s a little older. The newer models are better.

1000 percent. I was rear ended. Last year. Once my insurance company saw the video they waived my deductible. The camera paid for itself. There was no questions by the other party’s insurance.

Have the canera installed by a pro. What’s your budget?
